Senior Legal Counsel

Introduction:

quantilope is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel. In this role, you will work cross-functionally on a variety of business matters, including global contract negotiation, employment law, data privacy and other strategic initiatives.

What you will be doing:

You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal agreements, with a focus on B2B SaaS agreements
You will work closely together with our commercial teams to assist them in closing new deals
You will advise other business units, including management, on a broad range of matters, including employment law, data privacy and strategic matters
You will lead the legal team to introduce tools, processes, trainings, and policies to support a scalable local and global legal department within the growing company
You will create, update and maintain contracting playbooks and sales training materials

Who you are:

You earned your JD from an accredited law school and are admitted to the state bar, preferably in New York.
Proven experience with complex SaaS contract negotiations, data privacy and security
Quick thinker with ability to make quick decisions while managing risk
Eager to learn and connect with others
Self-starter – will have an opportunity to shape the legal function and will be expected to creatively develop, effectively present and collaboratively implement systematic solutions and process improvements
Able to reliably cover the ET time zone

Estimated base salary: $165,000-$200,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors including experience and market data. The working hours are in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
